New policy since 10 march 2023: do not add new systems here. Because that is very confusing because sometimes the system was already existing but archived, or name or roles of the systems are getting mixed up.

Instead, what we do now:

  • go to the middleware /edit
  • then to datasets: dCustomerApplications
  • check if the system is already in the list (it might be archived). 
    • if archived: uncheck this box, and update any urls etc. 
    • if not existing: export xml the customer application and its underlying roles from the catalog middleware, and import the xml in the middleware.
  • after the application is correctly set in the dCustomerApplications and dApplicationRoles datasets, you will see it appearing in the cloudmanagement edit form, and then you can fill the linked website via the dropdown too.
